How the rules differ
Drawdown. Apex Trader Funding: EOD path uses $1K/$2K/$3K/$4K EOD drawdown; intraday path has separate trailing rules. MyFundedFutures: EOD Maximum Loss Limit of $1K/$2K/$3K/$4.5K across common sizes.
Payouts. Apex Trader Funding: EOD PA documentation says approved payouts are 100% split. Intraday PA payout page lists at least 5 qualifying trading days, $500 minimum payout, and max 6 payouts per Performance Account. MyFundedFutures: Rapid: daily payout eligibility after first-trade timing and buffer; 90% split for Rapid sim-funded plans as of Jan. 12, 2026, no consistency requirement. Builder/Pro: 80% split. Builder is request-based once within 50% consistency of total profit (achievable in as little as 2 days); Pro can request every 14 calendar days from first trade and may withdraw up to 60% of profits before fully clearing the buffer. Buffer requirements scale by size: $2,100 (50K), $3,100 (100K), $4,600 (150K).
Cost beyond the sticker. Apex Trader Funding runs a One-time evaluation access plus activation fee model — Discount cadence is high, and EOD versus intraday payout rules differ. MyFundedFutures runs a Plan-based evaluation purchase model — Rapid, Builder, and Pro have different payout cadence, split, and buffer mechanics; buffer scales by size ($2,100/$3,100/$4,600 for 50K/100K/150K).
